Totem Warrior

The spirit of the wolf, the power of the bear, the wisdom of the owl…they are a part of us all, but few embrace their animal spirit. Those proud warriors, who do, become the devoted Totemist known as the Totem Warriors. The Totem Warrior is a Totemist who draws more strength from his totem chakra. This special totem bind grants the Totem Warrior more natural attacks, special abilities and power than the normal totemist. By calling upon the spirit of these magical beasts, the Totem Warrior is able to enhance his combat prowess and sharpen his skill. Typically, they dress in the hides and pelts of their kills. Totem Warriors are common among the nomadic plainsmen of the Northland, but may be found among any primitive culture. They are usually human, although many of the primitive or “savage” races (elf, goblin, kobold) have their fair share. They are well respected and honored among their tribes, and are considered the elite among their hunters and fighting forces.

• Weapon and Armors: You gain no new Proficiencies with weapons, armor, or shields
• Meldshaping: At each level, you increase your meldshaper level, the number of soulmelds you can shape, the number of chakra binds you can create, and your essential pool as if you had gained a level in the meldshaping class to which you belonged prior to gaining the Totem Warrior level. You do not, however, gain any other abilities of that class, such as new tiers of chakra binds. If you had more than one meldshaping class before becoming a Totem Warrior, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining your essential pool, meldshaper level, and the number of soulmelds and chakra binds available.
• Improved Natural attacks: At 1st level, any natural attack you have as the result of a soulmeld has its damage increased by 1 step, as if the creature’s size had increased by 1 category.
• Totem Chakra Bind (Double Bind): At 1st level, you can have multiple soulmelds that are bound to the totem chakra and another chakra at the same time, these still counts as two chakra binds.
• Essentia: At 2nd, 5th, and 8th level, you gain 1 extra point of essential.
• Natural Armor: At 2nd, 5th, and 8th level, you natural armor bonus increase by 1.
• Extra Totem Bind: At 3rd, 6th, and 9th level you gain an additional Chakra bind, but this must be used to bind a soulmeld to your Totem Chakra. This is similar to and stacks with the double bind feat. And, because of Totem chakra (Double Bind), you can have multiple soulmelds that are bound to the totem chakra and another chakra at the same time, these still counts as two chakra binds.
• Chakra Binds: As you attain higher levels, you can bind your soulmelds and magic items to additional chakras, gain new powers based on the combination chosen. At 4th level, you can bind soulmelds to your Lesser chakras (Arms, Brow, Shoulders); in additional to any other chakras you have available. When you attain 7th level, you can bind soulmelds or magic items to your greater chakras (throat and waist). When you attain 10th level, you can bind soulmelds or magic items to your Heart Chakra.
• Natural Weapon Mastery: at 5th level, secondary natural attacks receive full strength bonus, instead of ½.
• Totem Embodiment: at 10th level, identical to Totem Embodiment of Totemist. It also stacks with the Totemist ability so that if the Totem Warrior has both he can use 2/day.
