Having seen our resident Wizard expert Emperor Win spout the virtues of Necropolitan and Planar Bubble, I'm wondering if it's possible to Skip the whole Animated Object step of using Planar Bubble to link to the Wizard's Demiplane.

I'm going Necropolitan early on in the character's career, but I'm considering getting a True Resurrection after 17th level so I can become Necropolitan again on the Demiplane. I am unsure whether this would actually make me a native to the Demiplane though, if it won't, then there's no real point in getting the Resurrection.

Is it ever worth getting Vecna Blooded to go with the Complete Arcane version of Superior Invisibility?

And what level would it be appropriate to add in part of the Initiate of Mystra as part of a Bloodline? Not the Bonus Spells, that's overpowered and my DM would never allow it. :smallwink:

The issue is that what "native to a plane" actually means in regards to most things isn't really rules defined. Something that has never existed outside of a given plane probably should qualify under virtually any DM but beyond that it gets iffy and debatable.

Wonderful, first response, you must've hear me say your name. So it just depends on the DM then?

What about all the other stuff? (all two items)
You any good with Bloodlines? I wanted to PM you about the Bloodline stuff, but your inbox is full.

Mostly.

Vecna Blooded is generally nice to have if you can get it without any real issue or cost, if for no other reason than that it wipes your past and helps protect you against other deities learning about you (and telling their minions) but between Mindblank and Superior Invisibility you are generally alright without it.

I despise the entire concept of bloodline levels and have nothing to do with them, so I would ask someone else about that.

Huh, thanks for letting me know. I was wondering why fewer people had been bothering me via PM recently.

Generally speaking yes, but there's one form of detection I want to become immune to short of Epic Spellcasting or Invisible Fog Cloud. True Seeing.

Fair enough, I'll transform into a Cheater of Mystra elsewhere.

I thought about letting you know in another thread, but had nothing to actually add to the topic.
If you really wanted to thank me though, you could add me to your sig. :smallwink:

I'm always calling you Emperor Win because Tippy=Win.

The problem with Vecna-Blooded is that the only surefire way to really get it is for him to give it to you, which requires an unspecified form of torture that is as likely to turn you into an NPC as anything else. Unfortunately, as it stands Vecna is himself the kind of entity that teaches master classes in CharOp University, and so getting anything from him no-strings-attached without a DM stand-in is pretty much going to take Pun-Pun levels of optimization.

It's the truth. :smalltongue:

The only time I ever post the word "Emperor", followed by the word "Tippy", is when I'm quoting Emperor Win, or am absolutely certain the person who's benefit I'm posting for would have no idea who I mean by Emperor Win.

Though I have forgotten one thing. Eberron is the main setting for my group, so I'm unsure how likely Vecna-Blooded is to be allowed, however, the writing is right there at the beginning of the Campaign Setting sourcebook. If it has a place in D&D 3.5, it has a place in Eberron.

Right, Cheater of Mystra in a Bloodline... *claps hands*
