A AC's BAB is equal to their CL, there are countless ways to boost CL beyond Character level would a 15th level Sorc/AC with an adjusted CL of 18 have a 18 BAB as well or only 15th?

Um.... Abjurant Champion allows you to use your BAB as your caster level (the author's assumption that the class would be taken by a warrior-type with just enough casting to qualify rather than what actually happens, a caster-type with just enough BAB to qualify). It does not allow you to use your caster level as your BAB.

You've got it backwards. Your caster level is equal to your BAB, boosting your BAB will increase your caster level, but boosting your caster level won't change your BAB.

The ability in question takes BAB as an input and affects CL. It does not go the other direction.

Edit: Took too long reading other tabs.
