Help Finding Fancy Non-Magical Bolts

Hello! My newest character has a high craft (fletching) skill. I am trying to find as many cool crossbow bolts as possible, but im having trouble. If you know of any cool/just unusual bolts, please post it and its book. I don't want to bother with magical items.

Dragon Compendium had a list of special ammunition. Among them were glass crossbow bolts with a superior critical threat range AND superior critical multiplier; just don't get hit while you're using them.

Also, ask your DM if you can use sling bullets in your crossbow, which was a thing that historically happened.

Expedition to Castle Ravenloft has Flare Bolts, they do 1d6 fire damage to undead on top of the normal bolt.

Also i second the Sling Bullet idea, or at least let him reverse engineer the sling bullet. I did this once with a Fire bullet. Its a small glass ball filled with alchemists fire, i simply made a small glass tube just below the bolt head, which would break after it slammed into the target.
