View Full Version : Optimization Bringing down the Hammer (of Light)

Okay, with all the recent cleric optimization posts lately i noticed that none of the ever really talk about optimizing turning. (DISCLAIMER: I know it is far easier to become effectively immune to turning than it is to optimize turning, but this is on the border of TO anyways so lets go with it.) Because as it turns out that more often than not that the BBEG at high levels is undead (Lich, Necropolitan, Vampire, Draco-lich, etc..) so wouldn't it be awesome to just be able to walk near to him and reduce him to little purified dust?

So assuming that not all BBEG's have cleric/runecaster cohorts to permanently buff them, or that your god wizard in the party decided he liked telling said BBEG that he is not allowed to have any buffs, or some other random reason that the BBEG is not outright immune to turning, what is the biggest, baddest, most undead turning cleric that a cleric can be? This is what I got, assuming minimum rolls on everything:

So my question is, is there any items, spell, classes, etc.. to increase either/or cleric effective level or turning damage beyond what I have found? Or just a better way to do this in general?
