At least they didn't outright delete them (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?364374-TRAGEDY-HAS-STRUCK!-%28Possibly-%29)...

That is a very shoddy thing to do with no warning.

And it's STILL better than the Tome of Battle eratta incident.

I'll bite. :smallwink:

What, if anything, is the Tome of Battle errata incident?

A couple of paragraphs in the document turns into the Complete Mage errata. They never bothered fixing it.

Also the 3e stuff isn't deleted either, just archived.

IIRC, multiple people tried to get WotC's blessing to make semi-official errata after it was obvious that WotC wasn't going to fix it. They all got C&D's.

anyone have a link to where it is now, I've been trying to find it but apparently my ability to search their site is broken :(

also just looking at my signature if I don't change it soon it'll be really really dated!

okay so apparently I am blind and the simple concept of

"Scrolling down on the damn page"
was too complex for me.
I have now found this.
*slams head on desk a few times*

okay and calm down....

So this is why I can't find the errata?

And still only available to subscribers.

Blech.

I presume that it's either that or not existing at all. WotC isn't allowing it to stay up there because they're being nice; they're allowing it to stay up there because it's an ongoing revenue stream from 4E players who are dependent on it who are unlikely to switch to 5E. They'd much rather you buy into 5E and start buying all the 5E books and products as they come out.

I can see it normally. Try opening it again.

I just hope enough people stay subscribed to DDi to allow me to continue to access the DDi tools as I cannot work out how to make the offline Character Builder or Compendium work on my PCs.

And if not, I hope that Wizards will allow us to buy it and download it... I will pay a lot to keep DDI in my toolbox as a DM and as a player.
