Like ValKey said, after being free of my master I feel a little bit lost. When I saw Xeni giving me strange looks I sort of blew it out of proportion and have been feeling a little off since

I see. Well maybe a little *yawn* sleep will help settle your nerves.

*Crystal nods*That is probably a good idea

[Uberblah]

Ishmale picks her up. He gets up also and carries her to the bed. He pulls back the covers then sets her down gently. He climbs in the other side and snuggles up close to her. He gives her a small kiss on the forehead.
Goodnight my sweet, and feel better.

*she snuggles up to Ishmale*Night...

[Uberblah]

Ishmale drapes an arm over her and pulls her close before falling asleep.

[ValKey]

*ValKey wakes up, and walks out of the hut sitting on a log and staring up at the sky*

[Uberblah]

Ishmale rolls over and faces Crystal. He gives her a kiss on the forehead and snuggles closer.

[ValKey]

*Crystal turns in her sleep, starting to open one eye*

[Uberblah]

Ishmale smiles.
It seems as though my sleeping beauty is finally waking up.

[ValKey]

Humm yeah I am sort of awake...

[Uberblah]

That's fine. I like laying here with you. You don't have to get up right away.
He snuggles closer.

[ValKey]

*she yawns a little bit*I don't feel like doing much today, maybe you should do something without me

[Uberblah]

Ishmale nods then kisses her.
Ok then. If you decide to want to do anything I'll be in Trog's or I'll leave you a note if I'm going anywhere.
He kisses her again then gets out of bed, and heads towards Trog's.

*Crystal nods and just curls up in bed*

[Galin]

A short bald gnome walks through the woods and heads back to town.
He is struggling to pull a large heavy bag behind him.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale walks back into the woods, dead tired from the battle against Zebidiah. He enters his and Crystal's hut and quietly and gently climbs into bed besides Crystal. He pulls her close and snuggles her and lays there awhile thinking about what had just happened with Zeb and the weird part with his parents. It was all a little overwhelming.

[ValKey]

*Crystal wasn't all the way asleep, she was just laying there lost in thoughts. Feeling Ishmale near her she stretches out a little*Ismale?

Ishmale jumps a little expecting Crystal to be asleep.

*Crystal blinks a little bit at the jump*Just saying hello, I didn't really sleep when you were gone*she didn't want him to worry about her, but she just wasn't feeling very well today*

Ishmale laughs softly.
I see. Thinking about stuff were you? Like what?

Nothing in peticular, I just felt like I needed to be alone for a while that's all*she rolls over and hugs you*

Ishmale hugs her back and kisses her forehead.
Well, I hope you enjoyed it and that I didn't interupt an important thought.

Aren't all my thoughts important?*she chuckles a little bit*I just didn't think I would see you back so soon

Ishmale laughs.
They are, of course. I wasn't really expecting to be back either. I can come back later if you want.

No I would like if you would stay*she leans her head on his chest and smirks at him*

Ishmale smiles at her and strokes her hair.
Glad to hear it.
Ishmale debates with himself to tell her about the fight and his parents but decides not to worry her and saves it for later.

Did you have fun doing whatever you did?

Ishmale smiles.
Kinda sorta. It was interesting to say the least.

*she nods up to him, looking thoughtful*That's good to hear

He lets out a content sigh, watching her head rise and fall as he breathes.
Yep.

*Crystal takes a breath, Ishmale said that she should tell him what was on her mind. Though what she was thinking seemed a bit silly to her. She spoke quietly*Do you feel I hold you back from things you want to do?

Ishmale hugs her tight.
In all honesty? No. There's not much I really want to do but spend time with you. I'd let you know if there was anything I wanted to do alone.

[Chaotic Bob]

((eh, sorry about not being on, long car drive. Don't know how long I'll be on either))

Rizzen slips out of dead time near last night's fire and looks around. After a moment of deciding that he has no idea where he is, he decides to just lay back and look at the sky.

I know it is a silly thing to worry about..but I wanted to make sure..*Crystal smiles over at Ismale*
*Valkey who had been sitting outside the house all day staring over at the sky, turns as she notices Rizzen there and gives him a friendly wave* I saw some pretty interesting clouds, there is even one that sort of looks like you*she points, but it just looks like a blobby cloud*Er..well it did...

Ishmale smiles back.
It wasn't silly. You're just concerned, that's all. I love you for that, and other things of course.

Rizzen turns his head towards ValKey, an amused look on his face.

He gives Crystal a small loving shake.

Ishmale shrugs.
I guess I just don't like seeing the people I care about in pain or uncomfortable.

Uh huh, what else?
He sits up and turns owards her, eyebrow raised.

*Crystal rubs his head*Your such a caring person Ishmale
*ValKey leans over and kisses Rizzen*And kissable

Ishmale closes his eyes and shudders a little at the touch.
Yeah...

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen grins and wraps an arm around ValKey, pulling her closer.
That's more like it.

*Crystal smiles, she was feeling much better than she was now that she told him that. It wasn't good to keep things inside*you make me feel safe*she felt she could tell him anything, and wouldn't have to worry about him making fun or her*
*ValKey smiles and kisses you again* It's so good to be able to be near you. Did I say that already?*she gives a little laugh as she rubs Rizzen on the back*

Ishmale leans over and kisses her.
And you ward away all my bad feelings.

Maybe, can't hurt to say it periodically, but I'm glad to be near you too.
He replies to the back rub by stroking her tail.

*Crystal smiles and leans up to kiss him* I do? I had no idea I had that power!
*ValKey mrrs as he rubs her tail, sighing happily as she gave him a big hug*I didn't like you to be in that prison. It seemed longer than it really was

Ishmale smiles and resumes stroking her hair.
Ahhh, and it's a great power to have.

Rizzen's hand decides to persist with the tail since it appears to be so pleasing.
Be that as it may, it had to be done, though it's done for the most part now. On the other hand, you did your job well and I wasn't consciously counting the days...

*Crystal starts to sing*The power of loveee....
*Val chuckles at Rizzen*I am glad someone thinks I did my job well

Ishmale hums along to the tune.

His hand decides to give the tail a break and moves the tips of her wings.

*Crystal giggles a little bit at Ishmale, and hugs one of his arms*

Ishmale holds Crystal closer and sighs happily again. This is what he had always wanted but never expected to get.

Rizzens hand slowly moves up the wing.
Hm, you tend to do that to me I notice.

*Crystal snuggles up to Ishmale and gives him a kiss*
*ValKey smiles at Rizzen and laughs*I can't help that I am so distracting..*she rubs her hand on his leg*

Ishmale gives her a deep kiss in return, then yawns.
I'm starting to get tired. How about you?

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen leans down and kisses her cheek.
Nope, I can't see how you could.

*Crystal nods a little bit and yawned*maybe we can do something fun tomorrow
*ValKey winks at Rizzen*I could shift into something really ugly

Ishmale nods a little.
Sure we can. Goodnight.
He pulls Crystal close and kisses her one last time before falling asleep.

No not really. I fell asleep while I was watching the clouds earlier*she laughs*

His hands subtly resumes rubbing her wings.

Yea I like it out here*she closes her eyes as he rubs her wings*It feels rather relaxing. I could use that

Rizzen's other hand joins the first one.

*she smiles*Are you going to start feeding me grapes next?

Well I could, although there is the distinct problem of not having any on me.
He smiles and shrugs, his hands continuing their work.

*she laughs a bit*What? you don't carry grapes on you all the time? Ooh..a little to the left there*twitches her wing*

((hey, what do you know. Most of the connection problems happen at about the same time every day...))

Rizzen smiles and his hands comply.
Are you happy with life, Val?

*she looks over at him*Yes, it is much better than it used to be that is for sure. My life was pretty unpleasant before I came here. I found ways to make my life fun..but it is nothing compared to how it is now

I'm allowed to assume that I'm a factor in that right? At any rate, it's nice to hear that your life has improved so much.

*she looks over at you and hugs you tightly*Yes, having you certianly does make life more pleasant. Does having me improve your life?*Val smirks, he had said before but...*

He smiles and kisses her deeply.

*she gives a little blush, kissing back. She slides her arms around him* It's nice to hear, I am glad I make you so happy

Rizzen holds her close and smiles.
It's more pleasing than you could know to hear you say that...

Rizzen gently strokes her cheek.

At the very least, it's good to know that we're both happy with each other.

Rizzen laughs and slips a few loose hairs behind her ear.

He grins and pokes her back.
Ah good, so we appear to be clear for the moment. What's next on the agenda?

I am just enjoying the relaxing. Unless you have some other idea

We could go on a walk. That way I get to use these legs that have gotten to be lazy the past few weeks and walks are usually relaxing. We both win. And I could always rub your wings as we go since that seems to help you so much.
He smiles as he runs a hand down her back.

He stands up and pulls ValKey up with him.

*she gets up off the ground, dusting herself off. She takes your hand*lead the way

He starts to walk in a direction he assumes is north.

*she walks behind him, looking around taking a breath*the trees always smell so nice

That fresh woody smell...nothing quite like it.
He turns left at what appears to be a deer trail.

are you making fun of me?*she chuckled a little bit, leaning up close to him*

Rizzen raises an eyebrow and slides an arm around her waist.
Now why would I do that?
The deer trail veers off and they continue to follow it.

*she shrugs a little bit*I don't know..maybe because it is fun*reaches out and tickles him*

Rizzen snickers a bit.
Hey now, don't be doing that-eep!
He trips and falls off the path, conveniantly into a nearby wild rose bush. A small groan can be heard from in the bush a hand sticks out holding one of the flowers.
Ow...flower, Val?

*she pulls him up* wow now that is what I call going to the limit for a present.You OK?*looks like she is having trouble not laughing at that*

Well aside from the fact that I'm bleeding in several places, I'm fine.
He briefly looks the numerous cuts all over his body and shrugs.
Alright, note to self, get pointy flowers from a professional...

Attack of the killer rosebush*she giggles a little bit*you should stop making a habit of hurting yourself so much*kisses one of the boo boos*

Well there's an idea for a killer magical creature...
He smiles and hugs her.
Now you're making fun of me...not that that didn't deserve it, but still.
He shakes his head slightly at himself and resumes their walk on the deer path.

I am sorry, I just couldn't help myself*wraps her arm around his waist*

He grins and they walk to a small fork in the path, which is rather unusual for an animal path, but he doesn't seem to notice.
Left or right?

Right sounds good*she rubs his arm, staying close by his side*

They walk down the path and the ground begins to lead upwards slightly.

We seems to be going higher, do you have any idea where we are going Rizzen?

None at all. I do know how to get back though, so no worries about that.
The trail continues to get steeper, but appears to peak about 20 feet away.

I would hate not to know how to get back home*she hikes up the trail humming to herself*

At the crest of the small hill she can see before a massive field of red flowers. Rizzen trudges up behind her, and being rather out of shape, sits down at the top, panting.

Oh how pretty!*she bends over to pick one of the flowers, looking over at Rizzen*need help?

[Chaotic Bob]

The flower is picked fairly easily. She may or may not notice a few rodent skeletons around the ground.
Rizzen shakes his head.
Nah, I'll be fine. This is just a result of the cell. Hey look, blood lillies. Didn't think they grew inland.

[The Black Prince]

A scarred man in a black cloak and spiked armor walks out of the woods. Or actually out of invisibility. He stands hands on hips looking at the town.
So this is the Town? Where will you run to next?

I never heard of a blood lilly before*she looks at all the skeletons, leaning closer to get a better look*

[Chaotic Bob]

They look like perfectly undisturbed rodent skeletons, primarily squirrels and mice.
Pretty little things. Hm...dangerous and alluring....not a good combination. Nice to look at though. Whatcha looking at over there by the way?
He stands up and walks over, noting the flower she's holding with a wince.

[ValKey]

some skeletons. why are you wincing?

[Chaotic Bob]

Drop the flower, Val.
He steps forward and gently pulls her back from the flowers.

[ValKey]

*she drops the flower, looking over at Rizzen*what is it going to do?*she looks at her hand*

[Chaotic Bob]

The flower falls, noticibly lighter and her hand has several red things that look almost identical to the flower's petals.
Unfortunately the flower isn't going to do anything, its those little creatures on your hand. Hm...got any cloth on you?
He begins to calmly fish through his pockets.

[ValKey]

*she makes a piece of cloth appear, starting to brush her hand with it to get them off*

[Chaotic Bob]

The creatures appear to be rather stuck to her hand.
Curses, forgot that I didn't have anything. Er, got a knife? Those flesh bane's are exactly like leeches if that gets the point across. Though they're here to feed the lillies, not themselves.

((in case you're not getting the reference, this is from the Deltora series of books. Not great books, but hey, some nice ideas and consequently I couldn't resist))

*she makes a knife appear, then makes a face her hand shaking*can you do it?*she trusted that he would have a steady hand*

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen stares at his bracelet for a moment, thinking. After a moment he decides that this technically doesn't qualify as a weapon and the targets are not sentient, so it can stow it. He takes the knife and moves forward slightly.
Are you ready? It won't hurt because of their anethesiac ((not knowing how to spell that...)), but there's going to be a lot of blood, so hold that cloth ready.

[ValKey]

*she nods a little bit, holding the cloth at ready. ValKey glances at him*I am ready...

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen lowers the knife down to her hand and shoves the blade under one of the flesh banes and pops it off, repeating the process for each one. Each one leaves a severely bleeding wound behind that is oddly painless.
Wrap the cloth around your whole hand, then for good measure, add a few more.
He leans down and prods the flower with the knife, lifting it up and looking at it.

[ValKey]

*she starts wrapping the cloth around her hand, then makes another one appear which she start wrapping around it*I guess I needed to enter the realm of the injured

[Chaotic Bob]

He grabs the tip of the flowers stem and gives it a good shake, knocking a few flesh banes about, one of which lands on his shirt. He quickly smacks it off and continues to delicately hold the flower.
Look at it this way, we got a nice flower out of it. And don't worry about feeling stupid, my first experience was a tad worse. I actually walked into a field, rather than simply pick up the a single flower.
He pulls out a glove and slips it onto his other hand, shifting the flower to that one.
The painkiller's in the flowers. See? Can't feel my hand.
He proceeds to rap his hand on a nearby tree, quite hard.
Alright, so it looks like this walk was a bundle of plant-based fun. Between the roses and blood lillies, I think I've had enough adventure for a little while. You going to be alright over there?

If you didn't notice I didn't beat myself up for doing that*she smiles*I think I am ready to head for home I am starting to feel rather tired

I know you didn't, I was just trying to stop it from occuring should the thought suddenly appear to. But yes, we should probably head back now. Off back down the deer path, unless you have a better idea.

I guess you know how I am. I am trying to kick that habit. It really isn't a big deal if I make a mistake. Nobody is expecting me to be perfect*she yawns*I could change to dragon form and give you a ride home, it would be faster

Sounds like a plan. At least you didn't suffer too much blood loss like I did, otherwise it wouldn't be a very fun way home. But anyway, let's go.
He smiles cheerily and stands back so she can shift, carefully pointing to move away from the flowers first.

[ValKey]

*she shifts into her dragon form, making sure she was as far from the flowers as she could be. She lowers a wing for him*

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen climbs up and positions himself comfortably.
Off we go then, Val.

[ValKey]

*she flies off towards the hut*how I love to fly....*it shouldn't take long for them to reach it. Once they are there she lands*

[Chaotic Bob]

Must be better with wings than with magic, so I can't really talk here.
After they reach the hut, he slides off and stands aside.

[ValKey]

Maybe someday I could give you wings for a short time*she heads into the hut*

[Chaotic Bob]

I wouldn't object.
He follows her in and places the blood lilly near the door.

[ValKey]

*she heads to bed, sliding in the covers*mm that would be fun

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen yawns slightly and tosses the knife next to the blood lily.
Is suppose I should join you.
He climbs over into the bed next to her, another yawn seeping out.

*she curls up next to him and gives him a kiss*Night...*she falls asleep* (night)

Rizzen smiles and returns the kiss, passing out moments later.

Rizzen wakes up and looks around. He lightly kisses ValKey and slips out of the bed. He pulls his glove back on and grabs the blood lily as well as a vase. He slips the knife into a pocket and walks back out into the woods.

[ValKey]

*ValKey, yawning gets out of bed. She looks around seeing Rizzen wasn't in the house. She steps out of the hut and lifts up into the air flying around to get a good look at the forest.*

[Chaotic Bob]

As she flies around she may notice Rizzen next to the blood lily field, on his knees and stabbing at the ground.

[ValKey]

*ValKey flies down spotting Rizzen near the blood lily field*Just what did that ground do to you?

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen looks up mildly surpised and dumps some dirt into a vase.
Nothing really, its just that these flowers require a very specific kind of dirt and I want to try and keep some.
He points at a few flesh banes in a vial and a cloth around his arm.
The only problem is that they don't really feed on water...

[ValKey]

Why? They are pretty but they are nasty things. I guess they might make good guard flowers*she chuckles a little bit making a face imagining just what they do feed on*

[Chaotic Bob]

They'd only be good guard flowers if we transplanted the field I think...
He moves a flower into the vase and curses when he see's that he missed another flesh bane. He holds his hand up and looks at it.

[ValKey]

You would get along with my older brother, he likes weird things like that too*she makes some gloves appear*maybe these will help you somewhat?

[Chaotic Bob]

Eh, it's too late now and I've already got what I came for. Looks like the flower gets fed early today.
He pries the flesh bane off his hand and chucks it into the field, holding his hand over the flower. His other hand digs through a pocket.

[Uberblah]

Ishmale wakes up and gets out of bed. He starts a fire and gets it going really hot. He then goes back and lies next to Crystal, thinking about nothing in particular.

*ValKey kicks some dead time looking over at Rizzen*You feel up to visiting my homeland? I am a bit nervous but since Ishmale got through it in one piece...it should be OK
*Crystal yawns a little bit starting to wake up*

[Uberblah]

Ishmale, lost in random thought fails to notice the stirring Crystal.

[Chaotic Bob]

He shakes his hand slightly and wraps a cloth form his pocket around it.
Sure, I don't see why not. It can't be that rough.

*ValKey puts on the amulet, appearing in Emerald village*
*Crystal sits on the edge of the bed looking over at Ishmale*morning..

[Uberblah]

Ishamale snaps out of his thoughts when he hears Crystal's voice. He turns to look at her.
Morning, Crystal.

[Chaotic Bob]

Rizzen sets the blood lily aside and slips his amulet on as well.

[ValKey]

You alright?*she rubs your arm*

Ishmale smiles.
I'm fine. I just got lost in thoughts of nothing. Luckily you snapped me out of them.

He gives her a hug and a kiss.

*she smiles*what would you like to do today?

Ishmale laughs.
You're asking one of, if not the most indecisive men in the world what to do. You know that right?

*she laughs a little bit*well is there a lake around here? I like lakes

Ishmale thinks a moment.
I believe there's a pond just outside of town. We could go there.

Well a pond would work I suppose, lead the way will you?

Rizzen looks around and picks up the blood lily and other such things.
Perhaps we should head back to the hut before we suffer some random mishap, the day has been unnaturally calm.

*she laughs a little bit*afraid of the random appearing monster? Heading in is probably a good idea*she takes his hand*It was nice to have a relaxing day

He smiles happily.

I would not have liked that to happen. So it was good that he appeared kind at least.
He looks at his bracelet, noting that he couldn't have done anything if the man attacked him anyway.
