IN SEARCH OF ADVENTURE!

SARDIS. The city of dreams and freedom. A city in the Ardacian Freehold, a lot of land under the ownership of duke Stefan Zuginni III, it is the threshold for many venturing southward into the eponymous Borderlands of the Empire. A sprawling metropolis under the guiding hand of the Sardisal Council, Sardis boasts a number of guilds belonging to wouldbe merchants, mercenaries, cartographers, and thieves seeking to make a name for themselves in the ancient and vast lands of the Empire's southern reaches. Molly's Tavern, a favorite dive of law-abiding justicar and down-on-his-luck thief alike, is the hottest spot for those wishing to find their riches in the savage hills of the Borderlands. Now if only there was some certainty that one of these damned jobs would pay off enough to be worth the trouble.

The city of Sardis is a sprawling metropolis made of marbled stone, an ancient bailey-town crafted by the borderlands' ancient dwarf and elf craftsmen for a human king of yore, claimed year after year by bandits, armies, and the Empire herself.

The tavern bearing the signpost Molly's sits itself in the center of Sardis' marketplace, facing the place where three roads meet, with a multitude of figures both shady and friendly sitting around and chatting, when a redheaded elf woman comes up to your group's table.

"Good morning, sweethearts, enjoying your drinks?" she asks with a wink, setting down a refreshment drink for those who've finished their cup. "So, you four in on that expedition over there, or just here on your own business?" The redheaded elf points to a group of dwarfs and humans in chainmail, poring over a set of maps. "Or maybe you all need some business to get yourselves started, huh?"

Feel free to follow the obvious hooks or suggest your own. I have an adventure for every situation!

Jase Roloff - Human Fighter (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1552)

As the barmaid approaches, Jase quaffs the last of his drink, thumping the empty mug back down on the table before running his eyes over the elf and giving her a cocky grin that split his scraggy blonde beard with a thin line of stained teeth as she replaces his drink. "Might be we're lookin' at joining that expedition" he replies leaning to the side and glancing around her for a look at the group of dwarfs before turning back to the elf "Or might be you have some more uh- lucrative work for our highly skilled group here." he says with a grin looking around the table as his companions "Take a seat, fill us in" he continues, placing a couple of silvers on the table before sliding further along the bench to give her room on the end. "Where are they off to anyway?" he asks indicated the group of dwarfs with a flick of his chin.

Rebecca - Human Wizard (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=6468)

Rebecca may be sticking out like a sore thumb. She is very obviously not used to the hustle and bustle of the big city, keeping her head down and trying not to attract too much attention - which, alas, is hard not to do when you're the only woman in a group of apparent adventurers.

At this moment in time, Rebecca is peering at her drink. It's wine. She's never actually tasted wine before - back home, the only drinks were ale and cider. She takes an experimental sip, cringing at the strongly alcoholic taste. "Mmph..." She then looks up at the elven woman, and forces a smile. "Expedition? To where?"

She glances at the humans and dwarves wearing chainmail. "...Are they adventurers? Do you think any of them might be Wizards...?" She pauses a moment, contemplatively. "Not many mages wear chainmail, though, from what I hear..."

Biff, human Rogue (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=6782)

The redhead elf was quite the kind of woman that Biff would have seeked the company of, normalluy. she had that innate grace of her race, plus the fiery attitude of a tavern keeper! But now, he barely noticed the new drink in front of him, concentrated as he was on the ancient map on the table. He has been studying it for a month, together with Jade. It sounded promising, at first, but later on Biff become more and more convinced that it could be a fake...a cruel, cruel way to trick an honest, yet broke, refugee as he was.

He started looking around as like he just woke up, as soon as he heard the word "lucrative ". He finally met the gaze of the elf woman, who was apparently saying some interesting stuff, and started caressing his beard, smiling and without addind a word

Rebecca surreptitiously holds one hand above her wine. Once the elf isn't looking, Rebecca waves her ring finger around in a small circle, pointing to the wine - and then she picks up the wine glass and takes another sip. Ah. Much better.

Casting Prestidigitation to make the wine taste of cider. Because why not? It's at-will now~ Plus this might give Brother Simon something to post about, if he catches her magicking her drink.
