building a gestalt cancer mage. Need a little help.

So I've been interested in playing a cancer mage for a while. Now we're starting an evil campaign so I figured now might be my chance to try it. The idea for my character is an extreme fanatic to a dark cult hell bent on opening 9 sealed portals to hell and unleashing the flood gates, cliche I know but I like it well enough.:smallbiggrin:

I'm looking for a way to incorporate him as a sort of cultist/fanatical worshiper, assassin, and disease spreading freak who loves cruelty to it's utmost. I'm not wanting any infinite loop holes like festering anger and such. Just an honest bad ass guy who enters a town and leaves death and decay in his wake.

Talontar Blightlord from Unapproachable East (3.0, may need a few updates) is a similarly themed prestige class that you may want to look into.

I would agree with this. spells can do more for you than that prestige class.

Cancer Mage (without abuse such as Festering Anger) is rated at Up-One-Tier by the Tier System for PrCs, so it's not bad. You did say gestalt, so you could easily go something like the following:
