Where do I get Monsters without a Monster Manual?

I have the stater kit and an using the basic rules. But I cannot find any monsters aside from those in the starter kit.

Where can I find some?

The Basic PDF should be updated with monsters and magic items this week, likely on Friday.

At the moment, you can get your monsters from the playtest (quite outdated), from the starter set (you already have it) and from the Legacy of the Crystal Shard (http://media.wizards.com/downloads/dnd/LoCS_Stats_Next.pdf) pdf.

But do note that the monsters from Legacy of the Crystal Shard are playtest versions, not the final versions. Their stats do not match the final versions. You could still use them, but be mindful they have changed.

Yeah, it is just that at the moment, with 3 sources to pick monsters from, you can't afford to be picky. Having monsters that deal 1-2 too few points of damage or have an AC that should be lower may not be optimal, but it isn't a terrible solution either.
