New thread doesn't get permission

I'm following a webcomic in the Fan Comics subforum. New threads have to be approved there before they are posted. Now the old thread has reached 50 pages, and the artist says she submitted her proposal for a new thread some time ago. However, it seems to be stuck in Limbo. No approval, no disapproval, and the weeks go past without us having a new thread. Is there anything I can do to facilitate the matter?
