I always equated it to Iguana, naturally, so it was odd to me that the creature was like a gorilla and not a lizard, and also there is the King Kong vs Godzilla aspect of that as well...

But in all seriousness, I love to use demons in my games, Fiendish Codex is one of my favorite books, so I frequently *think about* using it, though I have never used one in a game.

Perhaps, if I had, and had said "Bar-Igura" someone would have corrected me.

I've heard it said two ways: "Barl-gura" or "Bar-le-gura". I have always pronounced it the second way, but thats because I had never heard another person say that particular demon's name out loud. So, for me at least it's a small sample size with nothing conclusive.

Since I discovered it this morning, I have been saying "Bar Li Gura" in my head. I just said it aloud, and my three year old agreed that it sounded correct.
