A really nice anon over the 4chan boards devised these graphs comparing the damage of some builds. I decided to post them here so to foment debate and give some people a sense of how high the numbers are running.
He compared them against a playtest Balor (yup, I know, not perfect but it was the next best thing in terms of roughly appropriate CR after the nigh-death-strike-immune Adult Red Dragon). Balor is statted as: AC 16; 207 HP (18d10+108); Con +6.
While I think AC should be higher, I don't think that a 18-19 would've been much harder to be hit.
Builds: Rogue 3 / Fighter 17 VS Rogue 17 / Fighter 3
Both have: Dex 20, Sharpshooter feat, no magical items.
8 Rounds with nova(s), meaning the Rogue17 gets to Action Surge once whereas the Fighter17 gets to Action Surge during his second round. Also, surprise round delivering Assassinate and Death Strike when applicable.
