A cleric needs to prepare spells for 1 hour and he can choose spells at will from the cleric spell list

to prepare? is this right?

Wiz Con and charisma is my best stats?

what is this channel energy talk about? 1st level channel energy 1d6 -> 3rd level channel energy 2d6?!? I dont understand this. if someone could reformulate it, it would be great. the english at 20d isnt always easy to understand

Clerics prepare their spells, as you described.
Channel Energy: Basically, you throw out healing energy (for good clerics) or harmful energy (for evil ones), and the "1d6" means that you roll 1 6-sided die to determine how much healing/damage happens to everybody caught in the area of the effect. When you reach 3rd level as a Cleric, you instead roll 2d6, or 2 6-sided dice, and add them together. Your Channel Energy adds an extra 6-sided die at each odd Cleric level.

And yes, Wisdom, Constitution and Charisma are three pretty important ability scores for the standard cleric.

As far as choosing spells, damage-dealing spells aren't very good, and healing spells aren't very good, although still effective. The best way to deal with enemies is to prepare spells that help strengthen the rest of your party (making the Fighter hit harder, making the Rogue invisible, etc.), as well as spells that weaken enemies (inflicting penalties and status conditions) and grant some control over the battlefield (usually by creating hazards or summoning creatures to flank).
