Not my grandpa, mind. I don't know if he has any children even, it's just his name. He used to belong to my school, I adopted him because the new program director is evidently evicting the animals from the Vet Tech lab at the end of the term. Also because he's my favorite cat ever and I love him more than most people I know. He's really skittish at the moment, since I had to stab him* before bringing him to a strange place, so he keeps sitting in my lap nervously, hiding in strange places, and then coming back for more comfort, but I hope he'll settle in before the end of the day.

Yay! New kitty! He will settle down soon, and be the happiest kitty ever.

Also...stabbing your new family member may not be the best way to inspire love and confidence. :smallamused: :belkar:

When in doubt, get a cat. When not in doubt, why haven't you gotten a a cat?

Seriously, cats are always the answer.

I wasn't trying to inspire love and confidence with the stabbing. That's what food and petting is for. I was trying to inspire "not catching rhinotracheitis."

It will take several weeks for the new member of the family to calm down and will be a slow proccess. Hope Grandpa (grandpaw?) has a long and happy life with you! :smallcool:

Ah well, I suppose he will get over it. :smallwink:
