For the longest time I've wanted to play a werewolf with the pathfinder rule son it. Giving it a mere +1 CR but what would that translate to for an LA? Since PF apparently does away with LA.

As I understand it, the general PF rule is that LA = CR. So a +1 CR is basically a +1 LA.

Which means it's a little more playable sine it doesn't get the animal HD to increase it. Now to find a DM willing to allow it :3 or at least start at higher than lvl 1.

But any thoughts on how to optimize one?
