I am a tad sad that multiclass Warlocks dont progress Spellcasting of any sort.

But it does allow you to cast spells from your other class using Warlock slots, and then recharge those Warlock slots by taking a short rest.

So, a Cleric 3/Warlock 17 gets to prepare 1st and 2nd level Cleric spells, then cast up to 4 of them out of 5th level spell slots after every short or long rest.

Warlock actually works really nicely as a 2-3 level dip, or as a class to go full in and take 2-3 levels of something else. It's not so hot for going 10/10 though.

Warlock doesn't even have the Spellcasting feature, so why would it progress it?

Two Monk sublasses get spells, too, but they don't progress spellcasting. At least Warlocks get to use Pact Magic to power spellcasting from other classes.
