Carrying capacity for a large creature (help)

I need to calculate the carrying capacity for a large creature with 66 strength. my google fu has led me to the calculation but i dont understand it.

Something about multiplying the figure by x4 for every increment of 10 or something.

strength 66 is as strength 26, *256. Large is *2 on top of it

Light Load: 156672lb or less
Medium Load: 156673-313856lb
Heavy Load: 313855-471040lb

46 is 16x the capacity for 26.
56 is 64x the capacity for 26.
66 is 256x the capacity for 26.

Then multiply that by 2:
156672 / 313856 / 471040

Multiply the above by 1.5 if the figure is a quadruped.
