I'm bored, and I want my next D&D character to be both: interesting and possibly entirely unplayable. Mostly because I'm bored.
Now, I don't necessarily need the Playground's help to make an unplayable character. That isn't too hard in itself.
But the particular breed of unplayability I'm looking for is going to take a little work. So, here's my request.
I need help finding (at least) 100 different base classes. Anything from Swordsage to Factotum to Mountebank to Soulknife to Dragonfire Adept to the Master base class in the Age of Mortals book for Dragonlance. Setting specific, alignment restricted, spellcaster, martial, initiator, tier 1, tier 7, anything at all goes. The more variety the better.
Then, I need the exact same thing for prestige classes.
At level 1, and at every level thereafter, I'm going to roll 2d100. The first d100 roll will determine what class I take for that level, and the 2nd d100 will tell me one of my option for a prestige class for that level. At each level, I will take either: a) the base class I rolled, or b) the prestige class I rolled, if and only if I meet the prerequisites for that prestige class.
My final addendum is that I am rather against filling the gaps in this list of 100 with variant classes; after all, I'm trying to create a list with as much variety as possible so I can make the most stupid 20-level build in (my) history.
