Achieving Permanent Levitation Travel

If you want a flying PC a race with wings is obviously an option, but what about a levitating PC? What ways are there to achieve this without assuming your DM will allow Permanency on Levitate? (as I believe I checked and its not on the table) Ideally a method that doesn't force any class levels, but if that's the only way I'd still love to know. :smallbiggrin:

Scorn Earth from the Elocater prestige class does exactly that. Being Unbodied allows you to levitate (although that has a lot of other issues)
