For the last several months, Robert had been foundering aimlessly.

The legends told of others who had been drawn from the Upper World. They were empowered in the same way Robert had been, and given the overwhelming urge to accomplish their task.

Robert had no such goal. He'd been summoned here to this insane world and dropped in the middle of nowhere with no direction or explanation.

So he'd taken to exploring. If anybody asked he told them he was looking for a way to get back to his world, but honestly he was just looking for something to do.

He was currently on a large ship straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean. It had masts and sails, the front of the deck had a large steering wheel, and it was haunted.

"I hate ghosts," Robert said as he stared intently at the faint apparition in front of him. Ghosts were one of the few enemies he couldn't punch his way through. The first (and only) time he tried, his entire hand had gone freezing cold, then numb, in painful split-second. It had taken him several days to recover from the frostbite.

He had also learned something else about Mushroom Kingdom ghosts as he tried to escape: they get a *lot* faster when you aren't looking.

So here he was, staring at a ghost, and trying not to look appetizing.

He didn't know if ghosts in this world ate your soul, but he really didn't want to stick around and find out.

Well, at least it wasn't boring.

Gnarls Bones were shaking, good thing the sound of his crackling bones go under in the sound of the waves, and the cracking wood of the ship underneath his feet.

Why did he have to board a Ship? - A Haunted One aswell? and on top of it he wasn't even sure if Bones were able to swim - and the thought of walking miles and miles beneath the Ocean to get back on solid ground was not all that appealing.

He tried to keep a close eye on the ghosts close to him - not sure if they would even show interest in him - but he has seen what these ghosts can do, and he is definitly not taking his chances.

The air got cold after a while, and a slightly unsettling mist started to engulf the ship, all while the sparsely placed lanterns emit a cold blueish light that cast eery looking shadows on the deck.
