Yes this is entirly fluff, so I only ask for story help. I have not finished the sins entirely, but i will post the story and the first 7 [scrubbed] Tomorrow i will post the complet version.

The sins

Lord Straken is the quite possible the most powerful vampire in the entire land of Ile. In life he was a gnome who committed one evil act, he murder a noble for one of worlds greatest treasures. He became a member of the nobility and was possible one of the most powerful and respected men in the entire city of Oxford.

Oxford is a city that stretched beyond the planer boundaries and is filled with many unique and strange races. Straken, who old name he has erased from history did much good in the world, but never repented for his sin, an ancient creature of evil came to him and offered him greater power,. Straken instead confessed to his crimes. He was stripped of all his power and became a paladin to repent. However, the creature of sin followed him. The creature was an Unhallowed (Creature Collection I maybe III) and made him the deal again. Straken this time took the deal, but used all of his paladin power to attempt to smite the creature even as he sold his soul. The result transformed him into a vampire, but free of the monsters control. He slew all of the paladins who commanded him and fled into the feared Adderspine swamp.

There he has grown in power, and became one of greatest monsters of history. He has built up a small army of vampire loyal to him and has made many deals with creatures of evil. According to the most evil of his, [insert evil sounding name here], he could summon a creature of unspeakable power into this world, a creature know as a Demon Dactyl (from the demon awakens. This creature would be forced to grant him three epic wishes, which he hoped to use to destroy the city of his birth. However to summon it, he needed to kill a huge number of people. He needed to cause death on such a scale that the world’s entire population would go down. In order to achieve that he made a deal with The sins

This creature would be forced to grant him three epic wishes, which he hoped to use to destroy the city of his birth. However to summon it, he needed to kill a huge number of people. He needed to cause death on such a scale that the entire world’s population would go down. To achieve this ends, he made a deal with Asmodeus.

In exchange for a future favor and what left of his soul, he given a small amount of servants which were the living embodiments of his own sin. 13 sins in all, each one portrayed his inner sin and evil. Each sin embodied their sin in personality and in power. They are bound to their master but have separate personalities from him. It is possible that they could create a new sins though the deaths of the first ones, however no more that 17 at one time. If all the sins die, they then combine into one final sin.

The sins are very hard to kill. They are as strong as 13 grow men and are always at the peak of physical fitness. They don’t need to sleep, eat, drink, breath, or tire. They regenerate wounds very fast and can survive hits that a normal creature could not take. Even if one kills them normally (no easy feat) they will come back in 7 days ether at the spot of their death or the spot of their creation, depending on which are their master choices. The only way to kill each sin forever is to defeat the sin they represent, which varies in method.

Should one sin be destroyed, all of the other suffers immense pain and their skin vanishes leaving skinless creatures to moan in pain before they take control again and their flesh returns. In each sins true form, they are fleshless, as they are simple embodiments of sin and so their black hearts are exposed to all.
The Sins
In order of rank (no power)
Pride, (hidden name Superbia, given name Light): Pride is the leader of the sins and the greatest of them all. He commands Straken’s armies and acts as his champion in times of war. He is forever loyal to his master and is willing to stake down his life for him. He is unspeakably arrogant and disdainful. However his is very intelligent and well spoken. He can recite poetry and ligature (which he has a weakness for) with mastery. He is also a collector of art and is quite willing to show off his collection to anyone he deems worthy. He is a master of tactics and is well versed in all things military. He is quite a talker and is quite an expert in art, music, philosophy, culture, and politics. He is also a master dancer, rider, sportsmen, swordsmen, bowmen, jouster, boxer, duelist, writer, cook, smith, weaver, and painter. The things he is not good at he views as inferior to his station. He is a unspeakable arrogant and is not willing to admit himself wrong even in the fact of a far more logical course. He is quick talker but is in reality as sociopath, and doest not take other’s feelings into account. He also follows a very strong code of conduct and will not fight in an unfair manner if he can help it. He will not fight women or kill children even when the situation demands it. He is also hatful of most of the other sins who he views as inferior fools and cowards. He had some grudging respect for Sloth.

Appearance- Pride is a tall high elf with long white blond hair and very good looks. He wears a set of golden chain banded mail (like the elves in LOTR) and carries an elaborate gold Katana with a single blood red rose adorned on it. His eyes are blue but when he is proud (see powers below) his hair and eyes turn blood red.
Powers- Pride needs other praise to survive. While he is amazing at almost all tasks, to become epic he needs others to praise him so. The most people praise him in an actions, the better he becomes in that actions. Example, should a bystander brag about him being a great swordsmen, he will become a better swords men. However, while this does mean he is a skill fighter it does not mean he knows his own abilities and can be tricked by forcing him to come to terms with his limitations. People who know of this power can not make him more powerful by praising him, the praise must be honest.

The way to kill pride is to shame him. One must challenge him to a duel and beat him in fair combat despite the fact he is considered a great swordsmen. They must defeat him again and again until all of his fans no longer respect him as a swordsmen, as he will grow worst and worst. When he is finally defeated, if the victor says he was a worthy opponent he will commit Hara-Kara.

2. Greed (real name Avaritia, given name Michael) is the second in command of the sins and is the all around overseer of the group. He often fights with Pride for power but knows he can’t beat him in a straight fight. He is a cunning and quick thinking sin with a sharp wit and nasty temper. He is the most talkative of the sins and is quite willing to engage in conversation with any one who is willing to listen. He is a cold person, and is in reality a business man, who is willing to do anything to achieve his ends. He appears are a short human with pale white skin and frantic eyes that grow silted when he wants something.
Powers I don’t know yet.
Weakness I don’t know yet.

3. Envy (Real name Invidia, given name Lago) is the basic right hand man of Greed. His job is to stay behind and protect the master from any hidden threats while the other sins do their jobs. He acts like a highly controlled military man at times, but this hides the truth. In reality he is a sadist and a sociopath who delights in causing pain and chaos. He suffers from intense insecurity and is very high sprung about his abilities compared to others. He delights in nothing more than watching others suffer and is quite willing to ruin others lives for his own pleasure.
In appearance, he has none. He is a vaguely human shaped shadow.

Power- He can copy a person. However his copy will be imperfect. Their will always be two flaws. On of which will be the wrong eye color the other is always some sort of inability that the first person would not have, such as a stammer or blindness. He must kill a person to clone them.

Weakness- You must paint a picture with him as the only person in it. The person in the picture must have the best physical qualities of all the people you know. You must name the picture Envy and have him stab it. He does not have to stab it willingly. If you does not destroy it, he will have that as his true form.

4. Gluttony (Real name Gula)
Gluttony runs the politics of the group and the finical powers. He is an unspeakable materialistic creature, caring for nothing but his own pleasure. He appears as a deathly skinny human with wild hungry eyes. He has nor mortals and exists just to increase his pleasure. He wields a hook and a net.

Power- Eats anything, I don’t know. Any ideas

Weakness- You must take away everything that he owns and defeat him in a fight. As he comes to kill you again, you must give him a single piece of rice and say “nothing” when he asks for the cost. He will eat it and vanish into dust.

5. Lust, (Real name Luxuria, given name Napoleon)
Lust is more of a puppet than a real leader but he holds an important position. He is a price of a powerful nation. He is not so much lust in the physical sense, but more about thoughts. He lusts for glory more than anything else. He wants; no he needs to be a hero. He loves attention and control. In personality, Lust is a spoiled brat and a control freak as well an attention seeker. However he is very good at given speeches and acting brave as well as he is good with the ladies.

Appearance- And overwhelmingly handsome human male. He wields a Calvary saber.

Power- He can defy the law of logic. As long has he is acting heroic, he can make others around him act as if they were in a movie. In others words, none of them will get dirty in any way, they will all die heroically, the enemies will be basically fodder, people will not drop weapons, screw up, break ect. As long has he dies in a dramatic manner he can not be killed.
Weakness- Kill him in a very anti cliché manner.

6. Wrath (real name Ira, given name Hannibal)- The main fighter of the force, Wrath is the most openly dangerous and angry of the group. In personality he seems very carefree and happy, always willing to talk instead of fight. However he is filled with pent up rage. When ever anyone insults him in any manner he loses his temper and will often attack unless his master tells him not to.

Appearance- Normally he is tall dark hair rat like man, with unorganized hair. In his true form he appears as a huge Werewolf with massive long claws. A bit the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, just evil.

Power- He can grow 20 claws than can cut most non-magical material. He can also make any blood on his hands turn into dagger witch he can launch at an opponent.
Weakness- You must make him so angry that he assumes his true form and attacks. You must then kill him in that form

7. Lies
8. Betrayal
9. Coward ness.
10. Despair
11. Vanity
12. Ambition
13. Sloth
Sloth (Real name Acedia) is the most powerful of the sins as his is the most common. He is the only sin who is not involved in the others plans as he doing his own things. He is the only sin who has control over himself and does not have to obey the master, not even the lord of the nine hells. He is the finest at everything he does, but he never does anything with it. He prefers to enjoy himself rather to commit to any work. He has beaten Pride in a fight but never did anything because of it. He is highly cynical and bored, never doing anything unless it interests him. He often has brilliant ideas that help the other sins with their plans but never carries them out himself. He is the only sin who is aware of their limited powers.

Sloth appears as a human who could be handsome if he put some effort into his appetence. He wields a wooden sword. A cynical sarcastic sin, he never commits himself to anything as he is simple to lazy. He also has a fully working six-shooter (the only one in existence in this world, were guns have just been invented). How he got this in unknown but he had never practiced how to use it and often solves his problems by just shooting at them. He may be a great swordsmen but only when he feel interested, other wise he wields his weapon like a club.

Weakness- Just kill him.

Others
Cruelty
Thievery
Zealotry
Hatred
Murder (when all the sins are killed.

For Sloth's weakness, possibly getting him to actually do something(Domination is allowed). That, or Baby Ruths.

Greed's power: can get any person to give him their most prized possession. (Most prized, not necessarily most expensive). Weakness: Give him two copper pieces willingly, and ask for nothing in return.

Gluttony's powers: Can absorb spells. Each time he does this, he gets stronger.

Lies: Master of Bluffing and illusions. Feeds off of the lies people tell themselves and others. Defeat him by telling an unpleasant secret about yourself.

I think the main motif here is that the sins are destroyed once the emptiness of their nature is revealed. Pride is destroyed once you take away everyone's praise and reveal what he truly is without it. Gluttony is destroyed once you take away everything he owns to the point where his hunger is so great he's essentially willing to accept a token handout from his arch-enemy. Thus, in order to defeat Lies, you'd have to unveil a deception that he's orchestrated (note that obviously his power will involve being able to orchestrate the perfect deceptions: You'll have to be really clever to trip him up). Cowardice would have a variety of powers that allow him to essentially run away really quickly: It may even suffice to just track him down, catch him, and kill him normally (not even all his vaunted abilities to avoid capture are enough to protect him).

Very nicly put. Rather like gluttenies power but i need a bit more details. And here is lies. I already had this idea so i did not take it from you but you caught on quickly. I need a name. Greed i think needs a little work, but the wish idea is nice. Cowardice is coming up.

7. Lies (Real name unknown (I’d like Stalin), given name Koko, Mansion, Goebbels, Cornelio, King priest, or Joseph.
Of all the sins, the coldest is lies. His given name to his master is Zealotry, who he created and is the only sin with enough somewhat at his command. His job is mixed. He is responsible for spreading rumors to help his comrades, causing war though racist remarks, distorted facts, propaganda, defeatist and zealous claims. He views lying as an art form and get a kick out of watching others belief his lies and deceptions. Until recently he was the head of a church known as the “The Church of the Final Path”. It claims the true son of the gods Adrian has arrives to guide the humans to the righteous path. In the name of Adrian they must purge all evil off the world and never let it rise again. However, the belief of the many worshippers was so great; it had an unexpected side effect. Much how belief can create a god, theirs created a new sin. Lies’ current form became a new sin Zealotry, who truly believed the way of the final path. Lies fled, and has entered the government of a highly powerful military state. Here he been spreading word of revolution and trying to make the public overthrow the ruthless aristocrats and install the (fascist) party know as the Human Workers Military Representation Party. Lies loves watching the affects people have when they believe something. For kicks he likes to instill utterly absurd “facts” into the minds of small children so they will grow up to become cult leaders.
Power Lies is a master of illusion. He came make any illusion become a false reality. Thus, if an illusionary sword kills you, you will die. However he can only make an illusion of something the person in question would believe and understand. Thus when near a farmer who has never even heard of magic, he can’t use magic. However should the farmer’s friend who does know about magic by near by, he can trick them both. His illusions need to follow the laws of reality (yes I know it sounds silly). Thus he can’t just make massive amounts of swords appear out of nowhere and attack an enemy unless the enemy is thinking about swords doing just that.
Weakness- You must find out Lies’ real name. You also must force him to make an illusion of something you KNOW is the absolute truth. He will often “Taint” things to make them look almost real, but you must trick him into making a truth. The weakness about his illusion is while he controls them, he does not create them. The target creates them and so he can only work with what he is given. He also hates mirrors as his illusions can’t trick them. He has no reflection in any form. Should one destroy his illusions, them must then carve his real name into the mirror and force him to speak it (need some trick). When he does so, he will assume his true form. A man of about 5,7 portly built, no hair, old, tubby (second chin) and not very impressive. There his power will be broken and he can never say a lie again. However that does not me he is defeated, given enough time he could learn to use his illusions in only truthful ways. He can’t tell a lie ever when near a mirror or on the same day his name has been mentioned near him, but he can still use illusions.

Right, well i am going to take the sins i have and the whole rest and post them one by one as seperate villians. This thread was just for the concept itself. I will be using the Giant's villian format. This thread is still around if you want to post any ideas about the concepts of the sins or ideas about certain sins.
