Spontaneous druid casting spells known.

Since it was my wife's first time playing, I let her druid cast spells spontaneously from the spell list, until she got the hang of things. Now that she's been preparing spells, she's starting to get annoyed when she doesn't have the spell prepared that she had wanted to use. I've been debating letting her use some spontaneous casting as a sorceror would, but the problem comes with the sorc spells known list. Since they don't progress in casting levels as quickly as a wizard, the spells known list won't make for a direct translation. Does anyone have a simple fix for this problem?

Also, would enabling her to do this theoretically cause any problems? I would think the group would be fine with this, as everyone just wants everyone to have fun.
