it doesn't look like it is explicitly mentioned anywhere that monsters like undead and constructs are immune to enchantments or mind-effecting spells. can you cast sleep on a horde of skeletons?

To my knowledge, ALL of a creatures immunities and resistances are listed in the creature's entry.

Undead are immune to a Paladin's Lay On Hands ability.

if the stat block doesn't say it's immune, then it's not immune.

Yar, we were a little taken aback in our game last night when the Warlock was hesitant to hex a skeleton, but surprisingly, they're not immune (or even resistant) to necrotic damage.
