Seconded. Also, since you're in college, there's most likely at least one geeky club out there. Look them up and check them out. At the one at mine, there's usually a time for people to plug games they're running. If not, you can still ask around if anyone wants to join your game.

It's also worth putting your location on the forums; I actually met one group of friends because we both happened to be from Houston, and noticed each other talking about the same things.
