so, as the title mentions, I'm look for a way to make the dragon shaman not suck. I love the idea behind the class, but its execution is lackluster to say the least

so I turn to people more cheesy knowledgable than myself for help building a character build that captures the draconic flavour of the class, and something like the aura abilities, whilst hovering around t3/4 level. suggestions

and despite the name, dragon shaman does not need to be included

How about some homebrew? The CCCC in my sig has a couple good ones that might help you out.

Here is my Dragon Shaman Re-tool. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?330720-Dragon-Shaman-Please-Critque) I went with a more dragon focused set of abilities dropped flight to a lower level added in the half dragon template and expanded upon the draconic adaptations.
