Epoch

"This illustrious long spear is made of star metal, and has a fine edge in the shape of a clock's big hand, jutting far out to the sides and being far sharper than it looks. The spear is a +3 Called Defending Longspear. The Owner of the spear is immune to aging effects, but still accrues the bonuses granted from aging, but none of the penalties. Whenever the owner of the spear lets go of it, it is treated as though it is an activated immovable rod with no weight limit, as it can't be effected by physical force besides that of it's owner. Finally, once per day as a standard action, the owner can stop time for 3 rounds, as if they'd cast Time stop and rolled a 2. The spear may also be called from anywhere in existence.

Epoch's only downside is that when you lose ownership of it, all of the time you posessed it quickly rushes back to you. Should this be enough to kill you from old age, you swiftly turn to dust and scatter, or form a pile upon the ground.

Epoch is currently in possession of "Oo the Oracle"

What do you guys think of it? Is it a practical weapon?

Sounds like a cool weapon to me, but what is the protocol on it changing owners?

The spear can be given by it's original owner to another person, or the owner can die, and whoever grabs it first becomes its owner. The original owner has to audibly say that so in so is the owner of the spear, however, and actually mean it. He can't be tricked into doing it, and has to willingly agree to it. The spear knows when he's been dominated, as well.

What if they have been charmed? would that also disqualify them? or could someone charm the owner than trick them with a really good Bluff check into giving them the spear?

The spear is Empathically intelligent, and can make it's own decisions, and automatically knows if the player has been charmed or dominated. The weapon can never be unintentionally parted with unless the player, in peace of mind, says so.

Things that can't die by aging don't die if they lose the spear. If they can gain strength based penalties, they regain them, however.
