what is the monster that looks like omastar?

There is a D&D monster that looks like omastar. I can't remember what his name is or what book he's in. Does anyone know the answer?

If so, I don't think it was updated to 3.5, but it's in Pathfinder (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/magical-beasts/flail-snail).
