Old school scourge has stats that look like this: 1d3 x2 one handed one swing = 3 potential hits

Assuming money were not an issue, what magic would you hit it with? Aiming for a +10 scourge.

And it was also updated from (3 hits per swing) to simply being a disarming weapon (+2 to disarm). That said, if using the old version, I'd slap Manyfanged and 5 different +1d6 damage enchantments on it. Ideally, while pumping sneak attack to the high heavens and dual-weilding.

Manyfanged? Where can I find that?

Its a result of reverse-engineering the Manyfanged Dagger and than applying the property to a different weapon (which MIC allows for). I believe the Manyfanged Dagger is in Serpent Kingdoms.

If we're going for old school, what type of damage does it inflict? I think in 3.x they do slashing, and with three hits per swing using oldschool rules, I'd go with +4 keen vorpal.

I'm digging Manyfanged. Find a wizard with Sakkratar's Triple Strike... One attack becomes thirty six? Ouch!

O.k, with that in mind, I'd recommend something like this:

This scourge constantly glows in an ever-changing pattern of colors, even the amount of lashes at the end seems to shift as befits the situation

Manyfanged +5 Flaming Frost Shocking Screaming Acidic Scourge

Cost:30,000 (manyfanged)+200,000 (+10 equivalent)+300 (masterwork)+?(scourge base item)

On a hit, it should do ((1d3+5d6+5+STR)x4) damage. If you plan on charging alot, swap out Flaming for Valorous, which turns it into ((1d3+4d6+5+STR)x5).

I would suggest dropping the +5 down to +1 either for anything else or just to save money. Greater magic weapon covers it so it isn't needed unless the group doesn't have any spell casters or access to wands.

Where does the MIC allow that? I'm curious.

The real issue is that the Manyfanged Dagger is 32,000 gp, and is essentially a +1 dagger with manyfanged. This working is based on the assumption that Manyfanged is a flat 30,000 GP cost, by ignoring that the cost for the whole thing amounts to a +4. Manyfanged is, more likely than not, a +3 enhancement bonus equivalent, not something you can tack on for 30k.

Still very curious where it says you can do that.

Same I tried to find it but couldn't.

Being able to create a weapon with the life drinker property would be amazing.
