The range and area of the Deathwatch (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/deathwatch.htm) spell strikes me as odd.
The spell description mentions enhancing your eyes, yet you target an area instead of it being a buff.
Do I have to imagine it as a kind of gaze attack, leaving a sort of life detection field lingering behind?
Or do you think it would make more sense having range: personal, target: you, like Arcane Sight for example?
