I'm not looking for a conversion. i just joined PFS and am looking at making my first character. I really don't like the rogue that much but thought that perhaps a beguileresque feel would be nice. I am wanting to play a kitsune and pick up the Realistic likeness feat. If I played a straight wizard, the feat would be nearly worthless plus I'd have to grab all kinds of traits just to get the skills in class. What other possibilities are out there for a beguiler feel. I am not looking for a whole build mind you but perhaps a few archetypes and class combo's that could grab the essence of the beguiler from level 1-12.

Only one way (the Spellsong feat from Ultimate Magic) to conceal casting in PF as far as I know and the requirements limit it to three classes without multiclassing : Bard, Evangelist Cleric and now Skald.

The problem of course, is these all have a main class ability that requires being loud.

To clarify: I was more looking for the feel of the class rather than just duplicating features. While ideally I would like as many features duplicated as possible I don't think it's necessary.

I've never actually played a beguiler before but perhaps I can help anyway. The guides for beguileresque that I'll be using are:

Flexible, skilled caster with an emphasis on enchantment and illusions.
Whoopass on toast.

Sorcerer is probably a pretty good bet here. In particular Mercurial's build (http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2opcd?So-Kitsune-Sorcerer#1) is something that really caught my interest. The spells known will be problematic, especially without the human favored class option. Skills will likewise be difficult without the human skilled bonus.

Check out these bloodlines to give you a great boost:

Fey Bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/fey-bloodline) for the excellent enchantment boost and trickster vibe.
Serpentine Bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/serpentine-bloodline) for the flexibility to compulsion spells and a more sinister deceiver flavor.
Wild Blooded Sage Bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/archetypes/paizo---sorcerer-archetypes/wildblooded/sage) to switch your casting to int focused and give more skill points (getting class skills is still hard but traits can help.)
Shadow Bloodline (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/shadow-bloodline) for your more stealth and illusion styled caster.

Crossblooded (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/archetypes/paizo---sorcerer-archetypes/crossblooded) is cool if you can't choose between bloodline arcana but the spells known cost is really steep, particularly without the human bonus spells.
Mongrel Mage (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/archetypes/paizo---sorcerer-archetypes/mongrel-mage) is new in the advanced class guide and really helps if your limited spell selection is chafing a bit.

Sadly nothing in Pathfider gets you to Beguiler status (9th level spells with INT as casting stat, and skill points). Closest you probably get is to go Investigater, Bard, or Multi-class into arcane trickster.

So I went with an arcanist (int casting stat, spontaneous(ish)) then I grabbed mostly beguiler spells known. Picked up Bluff through a trait. Planning to use invis for my stealth and knock when i get lvl 2 spells for my disable device. any other suggestions?

Btw since I am new to PFS if you happen to know if aracanist is legal without a boon lemme know so I can swap up the build before i play.

You definitely want a familiar to aid as much as possible in boosting skills, you can technically have it feint in combat too if you choose one with common. Scouting is good but risky, don't sacrifice the skill bonuses and action economy boost for a little forewarning.

Summoning spells will be important for setting off traps that you won't have the skill to disable. Dispel Magic can also fill this role. They're both pretty useful spell aside from that too so it's pretty obvious that you want them.

Escape artist is very important for both squishy casters and scoundrels alike. Max it and maybe pick up Vagabond Child to make it a class skill. Dimensional Slide can cover this too and really it doesn't hurt to have both.
