Monk thru Gestalt

Ok so I am trying to figure out how to play a powerful Monk like character. And what I was thinking was best was perhaps Brawler//Psion to grant the mind over matter principles but also the martial prowess of using his fist and having a character whom can never be disarmed or disabled (Without anti-magic fields)

How would you make a Monk through Gestalt and is my idea any good?

... Play a monk? :smallbiggrin: Pathfinder monk is very, very solid. However, if you don't want to do that, Soulknife is a personal favorite of mine for this, especially with the Deadly Fist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/soulknife/archetypes/dreamscarred-press/deadly-fist) archetype.
