Does anyone know what are the Top 10 books for Naval Adventures? This would include airships and ship combat in general, though without sci-fi elements.

Aside from modifying Spelljammer, using Stormwrack or the Of Ships and the Sea for 2e.

Thank You

Heroes of battle may or may not be of assistance.

Frostburn has harpoons and ice-ships. Arms & Equipment Guide has a lot of vehicle-related stuff (land sea and air) - it's 3.0 though so some conversion may be needed.

Some of the Eberron books have airships and maybe even water ships if I recall correctly (sadly away from books)

1. stormwrack
2. players handbook
3. dmg
4. magic item compendium
5. monster manual
6. arms and equipment guide
7. frostburn
8-10. three books of your choosing.

honestly, when wizards of the coast brought out a book with 90% of all the naval combat in it and rules for the sea then you don't need a lot else at all.

The 'no sci-fi' bit makes me think you're looking more for books to glean ideas from... If so, a good one would be 'His Majesty's Dragon' by Naomi Novik.

Not really a "hook", but I'll leave this here anyway:

They might want to catch and release with that one...
