I'm a fan of the Total War series - starting with the original Medieval. I enjoyed Rome, Medieval 2, and Shogun 2, (I tried but couldn't get into Empire and Napoleon) but the games since Medieval 2 have been in need of a lot of patching out of the gate.
I'll have a new computer soon, and I'm looking at Rome 2. My question to you: is it a good TW game? I like long, complex battles with a reasonably intelligent AI, and a campaign map that, well, works. And now that it's been out for a while, is it patched enough?
Or should I look elsewhere for my next gaming fix? :smallsmile:
