[3.5] Warlock and/or DFA Invocation Questions

Hey all,

Two questions about invocation using classes/invocations:

A.) Is there any cheese (or multiple cheeses) that allow you to pick up higher level invocations early? i.e. some way to pick up Lesser Invocations before 6th level?

B.) Without multiclassing, is there any way for non-Warlocks/DFAs to get invocations to use for themselves? The only ways I know of are an ACF for Dragon Shamans; or using the Codex Advocare (EtCR) item and a buttload of Use Magic Device checks to emulate class.

Most levels of RAW legal cheese are acceptable, but no homebrew, PF or 3rd party please.

Use the codex as a prereq for a warlock PrC? AFB, so the wording is probably wrong. :smalltongue:

A Rod of Eldritch Power can give you access to an eldritch essence or blast shape invocation that you couldn't normally use.

Other than that...you could use the custom magic item rules to create an item of at-will [whatever]? Does that count?

Would prefer not to use custom items if at all possible. Without items at all would be great, but I don't think that would be possible.
