Information about FR factions?

Hey. I'm trying to get some information about the factions (Harpers, Lords Alliance, etc.) but I can't seem to find much. In Tyranny of Dragons, we're supposed to get an introduction to factions so that PCs can join them.

Where can I find a somewhat detail list of benefits and organization for each? It certainly doesn't show up in HotDQ.

If you want more information, the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition material dedicates several entire books to them, such as Cloak & Dagger, Code of the Harpers, Cult of the Dragon, and Spellbound; it might be a century or so out of date, but it's good for historical precedent if nothing else.

what about the factional benefits such as downtime activities and side quests?

As mentioned they aren't in the HotDQ book and I haven't been able to find them listed in any of those links.

I would imagine those would be covered in future books WotC plans to publish. For now, you'd be on your own to generate that content for your players.

I have been givin the impression that factions aren't as important in the HotDQ, but if you're involved in the adventurers league they will play more of a part in Expeditions (Defiance in Phlan ect).
