Making a Mythal

Lost Empires of Faerun has rules for making a mythal using epic magic. The DC of the spell is determined by the component cost of the spells placed in the mythal. The thing is, there's no text of the components being "gp" and no mention of whether the final component cost is added to the total gp cost of researching the spell. Is there clarification anywhere on whether the prices are added together?

The component costs are only the way the Mythal determines the DC; the cost to develop it is determined by the Spellcraft DC, as is the case with all Epic Spells.
