I'm trying to make an effective Slicer/Tech character. The three scoundrel talents in the PHB are pretty underwhelming as far as being an actual slicer IMO and the equipment from galaxies of intrigue has been pointed out to me but is there any way to do slicing and tech but still be helpful in combat. I know there's a talent somewhere that let's you make a grenade on the fly with random spare parts, stuff like that would be great. Maybe making electronics that remotely hijack droids and automated security systems, I'm not really sure what's possible to be honest.
