Group I'm playing in has a few sneaky ppl who all have low light vision. The only light source I can find that makes dark light into dim light is the candle, which is all but useless in combat. Is there any other spell or something that creates dim light out to even just 10 feet?

Darkness (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/darkness.htm), amusingly. It lights up an area with shadowy illumination (although it might not be as useful because it still causes miss chance).

If you're in perfect darkness, Battlefield Illumination will make a large area into shadowy illumination, as well. Most light spells also make an area of shadowy illumination around the main light.

That's pretty much your answer right there.

The Darklight (SoS) lets you turn the light in a 80ft radius into anything you want, from total darkness to bright light. Only downside is that it's fueled by power points so you either need a character with a pp reserve or a permissive DM and a Manifester weapon/shield.
