Checking the Tibbit entry at Dragon Compendium, page 21, says that its Feline Transformation works like polymorph (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/polymorph.htm), with a few diferences.

Now, I checked polymorph and it says none about losing class features, extraordinary and supernatural abilities (by the Alter Self (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/alterSelf.htm) entry mentioned there). So, here's the question, if, say, a swordsage tibbit would be pleased to fight while in cat form, would its maneuvers work? If not, why?

I have never heard of them not working. Hell, one of my favorite builds is a tibbit swordsage that focuses on Setting Sun throws. Not much funnier than a house cat that can judo toss Big T like it isn't anything special.

This. They work. In fact, Swordsage was a component of one of the Tibbit builds discussed in this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?314320-3-5-Build-Here-Kitty-Kit-ARGH!).

As an aside, if the idea of a melee character with a huge Str penalty while in kitty form still chafes, remember that a two-level dip of CE Soulborn gives you total immunity to Str penalties, including the one imposed by kitty form.

Some maneuvers won't work as well for a tiny creature, or for one without a manufactured weapon, but that discrepancy is a lot less significant for ToB classes than it is for most melee. I think there might be a couple of maneuvers that only work if you're wielding a weapon, but if so, just don't take those ones. There are plenty of others to choose from.

Also, wilding clasps would let you keep some of your equipment while in cat form, which would make this more viable at higher levels.

I love the idea of Tibbit with Iron Heart, Diamond Mind, Stone Dragon, or Divine Spirit for the +damage strikes. So you pad up to the villain, bat at his head, and send it flying across the room.

Actually, in the Tibbit entry it specifically states that they only lose any weapons, shields, armor, or robes they wear or carry, but everything else they keep as it shifts to fit the new form. The only thing you are really worried about losing is the armor so check with your DM to see if the aforementioned wilding clasps work with your shapechange ability.
