Google Maps? Just adjust for flavor to fit D&D. Maybe that's easier in my head than in actuality. Not sure.

Take a look at the Cartographer's Guild, in particular their subforum for finished maps (http://www.cartographersguild.com/finished-maps/).

There are some incredible maps in there, and many excellent city maps. Some of them are dizzyingly complex, others labeled in detail. And some of them are absolute works of art.
