was removed faster than the numerous spam threads that peppered the same sub-forum.
I was pretty sure my thread would not be construed as political, since it was about decent behavior as well as avoiding a negative image of geekdom in the media. But clearly, a moderator believed that a call to speak out against online harassment was more worthy of deletion than links to livestreams of sporting events.
I am a bit concerned about that, and am hoping said moderator did not act out of protectiveness of gamers' image, since my thread was posted specifically in the spirit of showing the world a respectable face.
