Okay, so I am starting in a Pathfinder game that is allowing all WotC 3.5 material, including Dragon stuff, subject to DM approval. I'm playing a Spellthief using the Trickster ACF from Dragon 353, which gives me spell progression as a bard, and lets me learn spells from both the bard and spellthief spell lists. I can choose both 3.5 and pathfinder bard (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard) spells, and am using the pathfinder bard spell progression instead of 3.5's.

So, what spells of each level do you guys think are best from those options?

If you want more details on the character, see the spoiler:
My DM is starting a PF game at level 3, but he is allowing all WotC 3.5 material, including Dragon stuff.
He is also allowing us to pick monstrous races using Pathfinder's rules for monsters as PC, (http://paizo.com/PRD/monsters/monstersAsPCs.html) though the chosen monster has to be CR 2 or less. So I have chosen an Imp, which by PF rules is a level 2 character (despite having 3 hitdice, I know.) When I asked the DM for the okay on playing an imp, his only caveat was that at some time in the imp's past, she was cursed by a Helm of Opposite Alignment, and is now very Chaotic Good.
So, I have 1 level left to choose, and I decided to be a Spellthief using the Trickster ACF from Dragon 353, which gives her spell progression as a bard, and lets her learn spells from both the bard and spellthief spell lists.
As I am playing a tiny character, I intend to avoid melee as much as possible, using a bow as her weapon. I intend to take the Unseen Seer prc as soon as possible, to continue advancing spellcasting and gain sneak attack dice. After that I intend to take pathfinder's Arcane Trickster (http://paizo.com/prd/prestigeClasses/arcaneTrickster.html).

Improvisation, distract assailant, and blinding spittle from Spell Compendium. Rot of ages from Dragon Magic. Scimitar of sand from...Sandstorm? Cloud of knives from PHB-II.

Improvisation and distract assailant are both great. The rest are on neither the bard spell list nor the spellthief list, however...

Wands! The bard list isn't really my forte though. Maybe allegro? Sound lance? Insidious rhythm? Armor lock?
