Hey Giants in the Playground can I ask anyone if they'd like to help out with a character I've been making for a game called "Daywood"

Humans are the major race in Daywood.

Daywood used to belong to the Wild Elves.

The Humans were given Daywood by the Grand Council. The Humans were a nomadic people who suffered genocide at the hand of the Orcs. This was 200 years ago

The elves exist in all around outside the City. Elves are shunned and bigoted against. They are not trusted and not generally welcome in the city.

The City of Daywood has the most beautiful wildflower fields in the world. The beekeepers guild is fairly influential. Honey and Mead are cultivated and exported by the city.

The Elves never did anything with the fields around them. The Humans artificially evolved the wildflowers and brought the technology of beekeeping with them.

The Humans believe the city is their "Blessed Land" given to them by their God (who can be flexible if there are divine casters)

The city of Daywood, when occupied by the elves, was never a recognized city by the Grand Council (a group of kings, emperors, ETC made up from major races and faction to prevent wide-scale war)

The Wild Elves never made a claim of it, though they did live there.

The Humans of Daywood have a seat at the Grand Council, the Wild Elves do not.

The Humans are governed by a document called the Lex Vitae (Law of Life)

The Lex Vitae is a legal document (Similar to the Magna Carta or the Constitution) That determines rights and basic laws.

The Lex Vitae was signed by the Human leaders and the members of the Grand Council.

The Wild elves are pretty much ****ed.

My considering the setting... How does this character sound for a Half-Elf rogue

Snow is the daughter of Ellie River, wife of Johnathon T. River. The River family has and still to this day made their living from hunting and skinning. So due to the nature of the trade very often the men of the family would go on long hunting trips where they would make contact with the wild elves from time to time. Bored of household chores and the skinning of whatever beast they brought home, Ellie would go on such trips with her husband every so often to escape her usual routine.

One night around the campfire the men of the group told stories of ****ing the Wild Elves. Ellie couldn't piece together which ones were lying through their teeth and which ones of the group were honest but she found the stories appealing. However one thing to note about all the men telling the stories.. They were all married. She looked to her husband with a look of betrayal, the two were married since the age of 12. She asked if he had ever done such an act and his response came only after a few brief moments of an awkward silence. "N-no of course not!"

Snow is the result of the passionate affair Ellie had one night with an Elf by the name of "Talon" after the previous night hearing the men tell their stories of "sexual conquest" they had with the wild Elves from time to time..

To her it only seemed fair.. The meeting was one by chance. The Elf walked into the camp while the men were out hunting for boar or some nonsense. Ellie thought she'd give it a try, she'd been the faithful one in her marriage up to this point. What could possibly go wrong?

Snow's birth was met with feelings of rage, disgust and sorrow from both mother and father. They'd of thought to be rid of the child either by dropping it on someone's doorstep or, to simply end it and tell those who knew about the pregnancy the child didn't make it. But neither of the parents had the will to do either... So they raise Snow in secret on the outskirts of town and had her keep her hair long to cover her pointed ears.

General life

Snow has one older brother and a younger brother along with an aunt, uncle and her father. Her mother left town by herself years ago and her younger brother is all that Ellie River left behind. Snow never could bother with the whole hunting thing and is basically disowned by her father at this point. She's been on the streets for the past nine years of her life and has been doing well enough thanks to the help of some who have taken pity on her and because she's an excellent pick pocket and thief. She always waits til night to make any sort of moves to steal from others. Preferably those coming out of the local taverns.

Snow is ashamed of what she is and hides her "deformity" quite well. Her hair is long and thick and always in a hooded cloak from the River family to prevent any suspicion of her heritage.
Snow can't stand the local paladins. All of them self righteous boy lovers searching for any loophole they can in their codes to get away with whatever it is they want.
Snow takes whatever pride she can in her human heritage and knows nothing of elves other than the stories of savages and the uptight pale ones that she suspected as thieves after daywood's prized gunpowder.
Snow has buried stashes of stolen goods outside of town. Including the prized skeleton key.
A few times a year Snow is invited back into her home. Her "father" is indeed ashamed of her but he does have some affection/pity for her.
The River household is large.
Only a few people in the City of Daywood know of Snow's ears.

I should mention that in this setting Gun Powder is pretty new.

Who are the aunt and uncle related to? What happened to the older brother? Why did Ellie leave? How is Snow's relationship to her relatives? Particularly, how does she feel about her mother?

Appealing? Why? What's appealing about it for her? And why does she suddenly whiplash from a positive to a negative reaction?
