Omnificier I think happens at level 1. Makes the warblade cry. So does true dragonwraught kobold shenanigans.

also what level will you be ending at? after level 5 anything that isn't a caster is just not going to be able to keep up.

Use the sacrifice rules from the book of vile darkness. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?361628-Collateral-Damage-Man/page4&p=17858913#post17858913) You will have to roll a 2 instead of a 1 because you only have a 16, not an 18, but you can cheat an extra +1 in there somewhere.

This is all highly cheesy, though.

The Omniscificer actually doesn't happen at level 1, since it was designed to respond to Pun-Pun before the level 1 version of Pun-Pun was created.

Anyway, do you actually want an overpowered character, or just a powerful character?

The amount of cheese that can be prevented by banning BoVD could make all Wisconsin weep.

EDIT: To OP: there's lots of solid Level 1 characters, but level 1 characters turn into level 2 characters, and eventually level 20 characters. And level 1 characters are usually in a party with other level 1 characters.

Having said that, if you just want to hurt people with a weapon at level 1, Warblade or Barbarian.

Dragonborn (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20060105b&page=1) Water Orc (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/elementalRacialVariants.htm#racesOfWater), Str 20, Dex 12, Con 16, Int 12, Wis 10, Cha 8

Start out with Wolf Totem Barbarian (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#wolfTotemClassFeatures ), trade Rage for Whirling Frenzy (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/classFeatureVariants.htm#rageVariantWhirlingFrenzy ), and trade Fast Movement for Pounce (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#pounce) from the Lion Spirit alternate class feature in Complete Champion. Start out with two flaws (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/characterFlaws.htm) (City Slicker and No Time For Book Learning (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?258440-The-quot-Best-quot-Flaws#30), both give -4 penalties) for two extra feats. Start out with Exotic Weapon Proficiency for a Greathorn Minotaur Greathammer from MMIV p101, which deals 1d12 base damage with a 19-20/x4 critical and it gets a +2 to sunder weapons and shields. Also start with Extra Rage from Complete Warrior as well as Power Attack. Get the Quick trait (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/characterTraits.htm#quick) as well so you'll still move faster, even in medium or heavy armor.

After two levels of Wolf-Totem Barbarian plan to get Warblade from Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords, and get Knock-Down (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/divine/divineAbilitiesFeats.htm#knockDown) at 3rd level.
