View Full Version : 3rd Ed Yuan-ti and cave dinosaurs

So I was looking at the cave dino's in the miniatures handbook recently, and at the beginning of the entry it mentioned the Yuan-ti breeding program could result in the dinosaurs getting extra powers. Two of them mentioned getting abilities as yuan-ti do, but for all my looking, I cannot find these abilities in either of the places I looked, MM1 and XPH. The abilities would have been produce acid and chameleon power. Anyone know where I can look to find these?

Produce Acid and Chameleon Power are tucked away in the Yuan-ti halfblood and Abomination stat blocks in the MM1 at pages 264 and 265.

As an additional question, why is the cave trike a level 10 druid AC but the rhino is a level 7? Rhino has more damage on the charge, and higher str? Is it the trample, reach or darkvision that the trike has? Cause thats the only real difference that I can find. If I removed the reach, would the trike be a suitable AC for a level 7 druid?
