So the Campaign I'm running is a year into play, and the PC have found small hits about whats going on in the world but haven't been able to put one and one together yet. So far they are a group of adventurers that where hired buy the capital city to investigate wired things going on all around the world. so far the have stopped a orc army from destroying a elven city, and fought off a mini boss hired by the BBEG's generals to test the groups strength. atm they are on a very big mission to get key components to stop a demon horde from destroying a major human city, when they get back to "save the city" that's when all hell will break lose.

The BBEG will have one right hand man that his spirit created to unlock him from his prison, i would also like to have 7 Generals named or styled after the deadly sins. the BBEG is a epic level Vashar, in fact the first human ever mad. he is a Savage bard/Ur-preist/sublime cord. he resents the gods for creating him then throwing him away and is now steeling powers from them all on a quest to destroy all gods, good and bad. he was sealed away by a group of hero's with the help of legendary items given to them by the gods over 300 years ago. all history of this has been destroyed or hidden, even by the good gods, so that no one trys to bring him back, but someone found a way to bring his spirit back.

His Right hand will be a Large Corrupted Warforged with the Obah blessed template, i was thinking about adding half dragon and spellwraped for more flavor. all i have for him at the moment is he will take Juggernaut and Warhulk, and use Rapidstrikes, he will also have the spells battle arms and Girallon's Blessing on him. so anything to fill in his gaps will be good, i was thinking paladin of tyranny, but i'm not sure if they can use blackguard spells.

Next i want his generals to be one of the 7 sin's so suggestions on what they should be, optimizing is good here, so anything goes.

the Mini BBEG that was hired is a crazy deformed half-orc Bard/Dread Witch/Tainted Scholar/Nightmare Spinner/Sublime Chord/Mindbender, he is following the group and knows all there fears and past, he will be recurring and leveling up as the group dose. i have him planed out already, if he fits one of the sins, i can make him one.

all suggestions are welcome. and thank you.

lust: high cha succubus, make her really good at charming people, describe her in such a way that all the guys in the group get a hard on.
Gluttony: not sure, maby a drunken master?
greed: artificer that will do anything to make money.
sloth: focus him on battlefield control and preventing action.
Wrath: ubercharger barbarian who focuses on rage abilities
Envy: focus on turning allys against each other
Pride: not a team player, self focused, doesn't care if somebody is in the way.

i like the sound of most of these. i think since the right hand might be going to ubercharger, maybe have wrath a frenzied berserk.
as for gluttony a drunken monk may work, but maybe some kind of monster that eats everything, i think there might be a demon somewhere like that. i do like the idea for sloth, maybe something that doesn't use a lot of effort to do what it needs to.

Gluttony should be a rust dragon. Leave your player naked.

Also Sloth should be a lich wizard. I like the idea of a lazy batman wizard/necromancer who focuses on throwing around battlefield control spells before leaving everything to his minions.

Like a summoner? Have a bunch of servants do his work for him?

that sounds good, became a lich because it was too much effort to eat, sleep and breath. maybe uses diplomacy also to get people to do things for him without them knowing.

im thinking about maybe have him trick the party into doing his dirty work for as long as they take to figure it out lol

Are you comfortable with BoVD material? The Disciple of Mammon in there might fit for Greed or Envy.

The Gravetouched Ghoul template from Libris Mortis might be something to look at for Gluttony.

Seeing as there's more than just sexual lust, the succubus could also be a dangerous combatant on her own (bloodlust)

For slolth I might suggest him having the Weapon Caput Mortem from Weapons of Legacy.

Its a scythe that grows in power with the user but of specific note is the 7th level ability Soul Servant. Basically whenever you kill someone with the scythe you get a free unseen servant that lasts forever and regenerates if destroyed. You can easily have hundreds of the servants walking around and doing everyday tasks for him.

Dragon #323 has a domain for every sin, along with some new thematic spells. Might be something to look into.

I've worked on a similar project.

1. Greed: Spell Thief/Lasher/thief acrobat- He will have plenty of henchmen to provide flanks. He will use his superior range and focus on disarming and whip tricks to take away weapons and items, and use his spell thief abilities to steal spells and buffs.

2. Lust: Beguiler/Fiend of Corruption- Pretty straight forward temptress.

3. Wrath: Barbarian/Frenzied Berserker- also pretty straight forward.

4. Sloth: Hexblade/Blackguard- Flavor the debuffs as auras and waves of lethargy.

5. Pride: Crusader- Themed to force people to attack him, via maneuvers and other means. Opens opportunities for his allies.

6. Gluttony: Cleric (hunger domain specialist)- Drain and debuff enemies, then swallow them whole.

7. Envy: Bard who maxes out suggestion. Throw in Doom Speak- ideally tries to incite others to violence through mind effecting spells and abilities.

Sloth should be a wizard that focuses on AoE Sleep/Fatigue/Exhaustion spells.

I liked Lightlawbliss' ideas for the others, though.

I like the idea of a fatigue/exhaustion/sleep wizard for Sloth. Ditto on the Spellthief for Greed. The first thing that came to mind for Gluttony was a Mind Flayer or Vampire. For Envy, I was thinking some kind of undead with life-draining, like an advanced Shadow or Wight or something- just have a nice monologue written about the rage that he/she feels for everyone who can still experience the pleasures of life.

Unsure of how closely you want to stick with the original concepts of the sins, but SALIGIA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sins) is an acronym used as a memory tool for remembering them all. In a campaign I previously was a part of, my character was attempting to resurrect/bring back each of the sins.

Additionally, Pride seems to be, in a majority of literature I've read, the original and worst of the sins. Even sometimes cited as the sins whence all others came.

The character of Pride in aforementioned campaign had the ability to rewrite reality if they did not like a particular outcome (mostly DM intervention when a particularly awesome RP event happened). In recreating the character, something like a limited use "save point" Psion could be amusing. Else you could go the "I'm better than you" route and just have Pride be a fluid NPC who has the stats of each of the characters, but 2 or so levels higher. (Or you could make him a multi-stalt character)

Lust: Succubus.

Greed: Could be a Dragon, though that might be a little cliche.

Gluttony: A fat dragon. :smallwink:

I seem to recall a an evil feat that makes you really fat (I think it's in the BoVD, but I can't recall the name).

Sloth: Brain in a jar.

Envy: Someone with a Vow of Poverty who really regrets it.

Wrath: A Wendigo?

Pride: An imp with delusions of grandeur. :smallamused:

Ooh, I like this one. Though I think that a lazy caster would fit Sloth more, probably a summoner like someone else suggested. Someone who's lazy and only does the minimal needed to defeat his enemies. I like to imagine a caster (maybe a refluffed Malkonvoker that's still easy) that spends the first round casting a summon spell and a quickened summon spell, then spends the rest of combat reading a book while the monsters he summoned finish the job for him. If things go sour, he'll occasionally look up from his book to cast a halfhearted grease or fireball spell, but other than that he puts in no effort. And he's strong enough to actually pull off being that lazy.

i like alot of these ideas, and im good with any source, i have every book there is and almost every mag(i could get any i don't have very fast) and as stated from the normal post im using stuff from BoVD already.

Lust would be good as a Succubus or maybe a lilitu or Doppelganger, maybe adding the helf-fey or feytouched with half-fiend. maybe some kind of bard or psion that charms you into doing things for her without you knowing, i also have Book of Erotic Fantasy to add to this so i have a lot of options.

Greed, sounds like a half-dragon that wants everything, your items, your spells, your soul. he would just keep taking from the players, building up to something, ill also make sure not to discourage them to much with him.

Gluttony, this i might make a homebrew template of half tarrasque, and give him some of the abilities mentioned. so something large or huge that eats everything in its path to get its job done.

Sloth, i might say a worm that walks, being too lazy to eat drink or breath, or even hold its body together. sitting back and making others do for him thew trickery or shear power, with lots of servants.

Wrath, im not sure what race, i want something exotic but at the same time something the party can relate to. i want it to be angry at something, frenzed berzerker sounds best, maybe rage mage in there for some fluff.

Envy, im thinking about NERRA for a race, since they are from the mirror plane, there skin reflects everything, so when you fight him, you are also fighting yourself. also maybe add the chameleon template or something to that effect. i would also like it to copy the players.

Pride, this is the good one, self loving to the extent of hating all others. i might go with something to the extent of a devil or a half-fiend, maybe a evil paladin or crusader Litch into a Ruby Knight Vindicator.

any suggestions on these or classes would be helpful.
