My specialist wizard took a variant where dropped familiar for rapid summon.
Now i would like to know if i can take a obtain familiar feats and drop familiar again to apply another variant that request familiar dropping.
Of course i mean RAW.

I don't believe so. Your new familiar wouldn't be a class feature - it would be a feat.

No, this familiar will not be a class feature.

However, if familiar worth a feat, maybe the ACF your player want, might worth a feat too. So maybe you can allow him to take it as a feat.

It's worth noting that Obtain Familiar requires level 3, minimum. This means that it's considered more than a mere bonus feat that wizards and sorcerers get one at level 1; it's a class feature that is allowing them a benefit that is not suitable as a general feat until level 3.
