So as we all sorta hate the way the book stores it. I made a list of spells, that each casting class gets unique, that isn't the druid/wizard/cleric badboys.


So here is a starting list of...everything.

Are you only going off the spell lists in the back of the book?

Some classes, such as Paladin and Warlock, can get access to spells from other lists via their Archetype or Invocations.

Interesting point: the Paladin has the largest amount of unique spells that aren't part of the Big 4 spell lists (Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard), but not the Ranger. Of those, seven are "Smite" spells, plus Destructive Wave which is a Smite-ish spell, so less than half of the unique Paladin spells are Smites. Of the others, three are unique Aura-based spells, so the Paladin only has 6 unique non-Smite, non-Aura spells.

A bit sad that the Ranger doesn't get more unique spells that tailor to its strengths, like the Paladin. Most of the unique Ranger spells improve its ranged attacks; none improve the Ranger's melee strikes, specifically related to Two-Weapon Fighting, to balance out the ranged attack-boosting spells. Not to mention unique spells for the Beastmaster to improve its animal companion, which would have been incredibly great. Ranger gets only 8 unique spells, so there's 9 spells to pad out the list that could be spread between TWF-friendly spells and animal companion-friendly spells.

It'd still be nice to see which spells are unique to the Cleric, unique to the Druid and unique to the Wizard, going ONLY by the spell list and not the added spells gained by a Cleric's domain, the Paladin's sacred oath or the Warlock's Pact (or by the Bard's Magical Secrets class feature). It seems the unique spells fit a theme, which would be nice to see. Also: do Sorcerers get unique spells compared to Wizards? Haven't done a thorough revision, but at a glance I think Sorcerers lack some spells a Wizard gets.

Yes, quite a few Wiz only spells.
