I'm trying this again but this time in just the regular Gaming forum. Please comment at least.

Animate dead- version 1: (From 1st edition) An ounce to a pint of blood, one cubic inch of flesh (no fat, muscle or blood vessels), a table spoon of bone power and a one inch long shard of bone.

Animate dead- version 2: (Zombies only) A bright blue or green clear chemical directly injected into the veins of a fresh and intact corpse.

Raise dead- version 1: (Certain good aligned love gods only) A mixture of holy water and tears from a loved one of the deceased.

Raise dead- version 2: (For druids) Plant juices mixed with water from a sacred spring poured in to a stone tomb. The dead body must have a wreath of holly or mistletoe placed over his or her shoulders then be lowered into the tomb its self.

Anyone who wants to post their own material components is free to do so as long as they are listed in numeric order. Thank you and have a good night.

Not quite raise or animate dead, but close... hope you'll accept it, OP.

Psionic revivify, display #1: Your forehead glows with a psuedo-divine light and the strong scent of pine and holly fills your nostrils. To those with the eyes to see, a small fragment of glowing white substance separates from your body as you give up a piece of your soul. Your soulstuff stretches out, once more linking the floating soul of your recently dead companion to his body once more. A shuddering rasp sounds as your companion's lungs fill with air once more.

Okay, so technically, it doesn't have a display, but you said optional.

Here's my real contribution.

Raise dead v.3 (LN or LE only): The heart of a sacrifice, willing (either) or unwilling (LE), slain during the casting of the spell.

Just be extra careful about freshness and dosage, or they come back in a state of murderous frenzy?

I love that movie.

animate dead #2 is a reference to resident evil right?

No. It's a reference to Herbert West-Reanimator.
